Soul Trader® provides an energetic, passionate, acoustic pop/rock feast to satisfy the hunger of any audience. This is demonstrated by the Soul Trader® fans aged from 6 to 60.

The songs of Soul Trader® have been compared to such artists including Crowded House, James Blunt, David Gray, Bryan Adams & The Eagles (to name a few), but have an individuality & catchiness that leaves you wanting more.

Simon has quite a few notches on his belt; 2 Solo Album’s; International touring including performing in front of around 10,000 people at the Dunbrody Festival (Ireland) & performing along side leading Irish acts Mary Black, The Wolftones & Aslan plus Chris Baron (Spin Doctors - USA) & The Waifs (Aus).

The music of Simon James Betts™ has been embraced around the world by audiences and industry alike. One Irish radio interview kicked off with the line “We are looking at the future tonight & the future is Simon James Betts™!” a second Irish DJ needed just 2 words “F**kin’ Class” (I think that was off air).

Live performances from Soul Trader® have received rave reviews from audience & industry alike. This included playing the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, which also featured Paul Kelly & Rick Price.
